Apostle Paul prays for Open Door of Utterance

Posted: February 1, 2016

You can’t open doors into people’s lives; into their hearts. If the door is closed; they don’t really hear what you are saying. If I was on the other side of the door you would sort of hear me, but wouldn’t get what I am saying. If God doesn’t open the door into a person’s life or a city or a village; they know you are there; they know you are saying something, but don’t really have a clue about it because the door isn’t open.
Whatever door you try to open it won’t be the door.
Paul prays to God; usually that door is one that God could only find and open.
Unlikely a Roman Soldier, he was the gateway into the palace then through Europe which extended to America.
They are not going to hear and I am going to be obnoxious. Whatever situation God is in, that situation is ready to open a very effective door to share the gospel.
Doors open in such a casual way you realized the gospel has been shared.
God does give Paul an open door where he is at the present. Paul asks for an open door. A door where I am at in life and my circumstances,
Where every door is closed, he prays and God did that; one of the Roman Soldiers through an unlikely person; the whole criterion guard turned to the Lord; somehow through 1 or 2 guards, as Paul would dictate and said his devotions out loud as there was no silent praying or silent dictating, the gospel went into the palace and into the streets of Rome and wrote the letters that went all over.

Paul looked directly to God to give him a door with to share.
Reason- It was impossible to find one himself.
Giving me utterance. The reason Paul prayed that is he didn’t have it up to that. Pray when I open my mouth that the Holy Spirit giving to him the ability to speak at the moment opportunity is given. It is a gifting of the Spirit. When he is given the opportunity, Paul will speak the gospel. He understands with clarity now he speaks it in the power of the Holy Spirit. Utterance will be given just that at that moment. You are put in situations and doors and when things are open and are opening up for you; it is the sword which the Holy Spirit gives; the Holy Spirit gives a word that is needed for the moment.
It is one thing to have knowledge of God’s will; it is another thing to be able to speak that at the right time, right place and right way.
Open door- door of my mouth that you hear what I am saying.

Let my words be clearly heard. They can’t hear what I am saying, but pray for an open door. Heard on the inside, by the right person. You find one person and they see what you’re saying; sometimes they are a doorway themselves to a neighborhood.

The Lord make His Face Shine Upon You

The Lord make his face shine upon you

Hebrew is a picture language. Face is the total person. If you ask for a picture of me; it is not my kneecaps or elbows; it is my face. My knee caps are part of me. But my face is me. The word ‘face,’ in the Old Testament is also synonymous with ‘presence When it speaks here of ‘face,’ it is speaking of the very essence of God Himself – the Essence of God, only ‘revealed,’ the same way as the invisible ‘ME,’ that Me that you would not see otherwise, is now revealed to us. God calls that His face. That’s My presence, My revealed presence, and you know how I feel. You know my attitude; you know what I want for you. It’s revealed to you in My presence and, that is called ‘face.’ panim or paneh in the Hebrew Brown-Driver-Briggs
A shining face, all through the Old Testament, means only one thing. You are giving a message. The contours of your face, the creases around your eyes, they are sending a message! You are bright! Have you ever had anybody that, when you meet them, their face ‘lights’ up? You understood what I said, didn’t you? LIGHTS UP! It means, ‘beaming with a smile.’ It means, “I delight that you are here!”
The Lord your God in the midst of you is mighty. He will rejoice over you with singing.
Upon you… Upon is translated as ‘upon’ because it makes more sense. Sometimes the original Hebrew is hard to say in a sentence. But the actual word ‘shine upon,’ it means ‘motion toward.’ It means that this revelation that God gives of Himself, this bearing His heart to us, this telling us of His love, this revealing to us of His purpose and His intention so that we know why we are here, and we know what God is up to, all of that is showing it to us. And, it says it is ‘motion toward us.’

It is the total person. Everything that God is. All that he says that he is to you
In the Hebrew Shine. It is the picture of God smiling upon you. God is; God is Love, but he also likes you. He is beaming upon you. Vast numbers think he frowns upon you and we try to please him and Satan is continually harassing you telling you this you should be and when you are like this. God is not disgusted with you.
2 Corinthians 4:4 For God, who said, "Light shall shine out of darkness," is the One who has shone in our hearts to give the Light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ..
Romans says his wrath no longer abides, but we are place in his son and he is well pleased in him.. We are accepted in the beloved. The smile of God is upon you. What will happen when you go to work knowing you are walking in the energy of God’s love -- that He is with you, He loves you, He likes you, and He’s beaming at you? You are going in that energy.

You can have Intimacy with the Holy Spirit

Posted: February 8, 2016

You can have Intimacy with the Holy Spirit.

Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
Those who live in accordance with the Spirit have their minds set on what the Spirit desires. (Romans 8:5)
Many of us have a great longing to see the Holy Spirit move, or for His power to be released to bring healing, deliverance, signs and miracles.
Kathryn Kuhlman once said,‘There are literally thousands and thousands in the great charismatic movement who have never become acquainted with the person of the Holy Spirit, only with His gifts.’
That is a true statement is as it was then.
This way of living is only going to happen when we give Him time, devotion and leadership of our lives.
Do we so value His Presence with us, and the relationship that we have with Him, that we cannot bear for anything to come between us. Is His realized presence valuable to you.
My sheep hear my voice and another they will not follow. You are a sheep. Somehow someway, He shall speak to you. When we are listening, ready for the sound of His voice
We do not want to be those that have a bit and a bridle, but guided by His eye. Can you sense His heart and His breath even across your face. When we have so become attuned to Him as a Person—to His desires and what grieves and pleases Him…
May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you. (2 Cor 13:14)
The Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity—God living in and with us.
The Holy Spirit is not an impersonal force power. The New Testament reveals the Spirit to be a Person with will, mind and emotions.
As well as empowering us, the Holy Spirit communicates and fellowship with us. He guides, teaches, helps, assures and comforts us.
And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. (Eph 4:30)

The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome] with a jealous love? (James 4:5, AMP)
6. Allow God to put His finger on anything in your life that displeases the Holy Spirit—and deal with it
It is because of love that causes you to lay down your life. The love of three of David’s mighty men who were close enough to hear him say, “Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!”
They were unbidden, the three warriors broke through enemy lines at risk of their lives to fulfill David’s wish. (2 Samuel 23:13-17)
He anointed us, set his seal of ownership on us, and put his Spirit in our hearts as a deposit, guaranteeing what is to come. (2 Cor 1:21)

When you delight yourself in the Lord, you simple abandon yourself to the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ to be loved. Allow the Holy Spirit to love you. He loves you, He loves you with an unconditional with a limitless love and let Him do it. Be in his presence. Be in the presence of the lover of your soul. And the result is a relationship develops. In that relationship, that is the drawing out, it is the calling forth, of the true you. He will envelop you, overshadow, draw you till you have a relationship with the realized presence of the Lord and partner with him in life.
Call in the scripture means the calling with a voice. In the calling of a voice, it is to name and define the one you are calling and summoned them to your presence. God who calls those things that are not as those they are.
I place myself in His presence and the call, the word, the voice that God speaks into me; it is His calling, His calling me into who I truly am. He is calling me forth. He is defining me, He is naming me as Adam named the animals and said this is who you are. God calls you and gives you a name He calls you and defines you and says this is who you are. Stand in My presence and we do. As you do He defines and calls your authentic true self .He calls you His beloved
The flesh doesn’t know what to do in that Presence. It is totally out of its depth. It is shown for what it is. It is crucified. This is the real me. He just called me by name and he has defined me. That is delighting yourself in the Lord. It is luxuriating. It is letting God shower upon you His love, His abundance of life and define you for you are. This is a great need for believers; it is God telling them who they are. I tell you who you are, often times we put it on the table and dissect it, study it and see what it says in the Hebrew and Greek and say now I know it and you don’t know a thing.
It is only when He speaks it into your heart and calls you forth and tells you this is who you are.

The Lord Turn His Face Toward You.

Posted: February 6, 2016

The Lord turn his face towards you .
Lift up His countenance- Countenance is the face. So, the word FACE equals, and is the same word in the Hebrew, as PRESENCE. Many times, we have translated it ‘presence,’ because to our Western ears, face doesn’t make any sense. To say, ‘my face will go with you,’ to a Hebrew, that meant everything. It meant that the shining delight of God in you would go with you. We don’t get that in the West, and so we have called it ‘presence.’ But, that is what it is in the Hebrew language.
He says, then, in this crescendo of The Blessing,
He will lift up His face upon you.
Lift up. Hebrew expression is it is catching someone eye in the crowd. In a crowd of people that I didn’t know, there may one person I know and I lift up my eyes to that person and there is that click and we know each other in a crowd of anonymous people. I have met some one I know and our eyes lock and we nod the nod of recognition. Same expression Genesis 43:29 As he lifted his eyes and saw his brother Benjamin, his mother's son, he said, "Is this your youngest brother, of whom you spoke to me?" And he said, "May God be gracious to you, my son."Joseph asks for Benjamin. Benjamin comes in and Joseph lifted up his eyes. All his brothers are there, but he is looking. Oh there he is. I approve of you, I see you where you are. I have friendship with you. As I walk through life today and in the middle of this world that presses with a great tide of people. God lift up your eyes. Let your eyes be upon me though out this day and let your eyes be upon me. Let me catch your eye. Let there be that look of recognition between us. I am in the in with God. I am the personal friend of God.
Especially during trails, or tough times, it is good to know God sees you and you’re a personal friend. If there is a tough times or famine of some sort in the city, state or country and you are also part of it. Things are so bad, it comes to that. Lift up your eyes.
Now, a person who is lifting up their face is a person who has been searching. You don’t do it by accident; you are looking for somebody. There is somebody here that is of importance to you, and you are looking – you are searching, and you are waiting for them either to come in or for you to find them in the crowd. That is implied in that. When you see that person, there is always the implication, then, of excitement and of delight. It’s that locking of eyes: We’ve found each other across the room! Just by the locking of eyes, you’ve let the message be known, “I KNOW YOU!” In the deepest sense of that word, “I know you!” It is implied there, “I accept you.” “I want you”. It means that you are in my inner circle. I don’t do this to the whole place! It’s you! It’s you! It’s you! You are accepted. It’s the idea that I delight in you, I am here for you.
The Lord locks eyes with you and says, “I know you! I totally accept you. You are in the inner circle of the Holy Trinity. I delight in you.” There is infinite excitement in the heart of God concerning you.
Once I say, “Lift up the face – lift up the countenance,” it means that the person you’ve locked eyes with, has been separated out from the crowd. They are no longer just ‘the congregation.’ They are no longer the audience, and they are no longer all the people milling about in the room. You connect with your eyes, and immediately that person is, in a sense, personalized. Before that, they were just people, but now you have distinguished them as You are The Person that is of such importance to you. With the lifting up of the countenance, and the locking of eyes with the person, you are actually gifting that person. You are bestowing on that person special-ness. You are bestowing upon them that importance, that worth, that value and significance. You are saying, ‘You are not just a person here.’ The one who lifts up their face, the one who searches the crowd, sees you and locks eyes is bestowing upon you your worth.
It is saying that I value you. Out of all the persons here, I give you worth. To me, you are of importance, you have supreme significance. You were so important I kept searching until I found you and locked eyes with you.
Do you get this? This is a tremendous word. God says, “This is what I will, this is what I determine for My covenant people – to lift up My eyes and catch their eye.”
He said the same thing to them at the beginning of the covenant when this motley crowd turns up at Mount Sinai, and the covenant begins. This is how it begins. God says, “You will be to me a peculiar people.” Now, that means, “You will be My pocket money.” A more modern translation would be, “You will be My special treasure.” And then, it goes on, “For all the peoples of the earth are Mine.” God says, “I own every human being, but you! You are My special treasure, or My pocket money.” The idea is I have money and I pay all the bills with the money, but the pocket money is for my pleasure.
Jesus is the Face of God! You could say it is the Face of God with the tears of God saying, “I cannot give you up so I will come Myself.” God became flesh.
In fact, those words, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God,” that word ‘with,’ you can’t really translate into English. But, it means face-to-face. So, husband and wife are ‘with.’ They are face-to-face. That’s the meaning of the word.
So, in the beginning was the Word, and the Word was ‘face-to-face’ with God, and the Word was God.
God was face-to-face with God, and God loved God, and God beheld God, and God loved God! The Father loved the Son face-to-face, and the face of God became flesh and lived among us. He doesn’t look at us across the universe and catch our eye. In fact, He didn’t catch our eye! He joined us. He came and became One with us.
The Holy Spirit is God connecting! The Holy Spirit is God embracing! The Holy Spirit is God putting you into Jesus so that you wake up to see the eyes of God upon you.
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you…
It’s interesting that it doesn’t say, ‘you lift up your eyes and try to catch God’s eye!’ It doesn’t begin with us; it begins with God. He lifts up! Jesus is the lifting up of His eyes. The Holy Spirit is the eye of God coming to you. All you can do is accept His looking at you

Temptation

"Temptation is the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to produce the life of Christ in our lives. It is the time when we die to the pseudo strength of our flesh and enter into the resurrection life of Christ." Malcolm Smith

Psalm 91:4

Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His pinions, And under His wings you may seek refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and bulwark. 5You will not be afraid of the terror by night, Or of the arrow that flies by day;"Our shield in the day of battle with the powers of darkness is utter reliance upon His faithfulness. We are shielded by His resolve to save and keep us If we were shielded by our resolves, our shield would be made of cardboard! However, we have invincible armor when we are sheltered behind the oath of God" Malcolm Smith

If the Holy Spirit gives you an understanding that the anointing is within you ; (The Anointed ONE), it is what will support the potential anointing that can rest upon you.

Trust in the Lord with ALL thine heart:

Posted: February 16, 2016

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not upon your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He SHALL direct your paths.

Trust in the Lord - in the Hebrew means not to have a walking stick to lean on, to wholly put all that you are in your mind and emotions in casting and rolling yourself wholly trusting upon Him.

In all your ways- the unfolding of the moments of life, as a road trodden (derek, deh'-rek)

Acknowledge Him-It means to recognize Him, to confess Him as Lord over the situation. To see Him as the God that is. (meaning present in your circumstances now) meaning the God who is present to you and in your recognition you are present to Him. It strongly means to give room; give Him room to begin to act or perform in your circumstances. In recognition you see the person for who He is and you yield and submit to who they are; in doing so you give room for them to work and act.
If a preacher is in the congregation and the pastor sees him and calls him to the pulpit, he is recognizing him and makes room for him to participate or give him the meeting. (Yada, yaw'dah') Also this word evokes intimacy with a person. This word is also used as to know Him in intimacy, in a relationship with that evokes intimacy.

He shall direct your paths- means He will smooth out.Direct; yashar (yaw-shar')causatively, to make right, pleasant, prosperous. Your relationships smooth out, be made right, pleasant and or prosperous; you finding a job smoothes out, be made right pleasant and or prosperous your circumstances smooth out; be made right pleasant and or prosperous. Path;'orach (o'-rakh) that is well trodden. This is used to describe "seeking the Lord" meaning that the person goes to a familiar well trodden path to the center of who he is in his relationship with God; of how he is joined to God. There in the quietness of his heart he hears Him.
