Luke 6:38 (NKJV)
.38 Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.”

Leah
Posted: 3 May, 2016
Leah- Weak eyed is someone who has been rejected, over looked. She was unwanted and unloved. That does carry into your physical frame.A verse in Torah was Leah’s eyes were weak, but Rachael was shapely and beautiful Gen.29:17The word translated as “weak” in the Hebrew word rakkot the plural form of the word rak, meaning soft or tender. The Talmud states that the word rak (tender) connotes royalty.According to Midrash, Leah’s eyes were redden and puffy because she was constantly crying; lamenting the prospect of marrying Esau. The adage of the town was two sons to Rivka; two daughter to Lavan; the older to older, the younger to the younger. Leah’s eyes were tender and tearstained. Her greatest fear was to be forced to undergo an arrange marriage with Esau and therefore wept and wept to be the mother of the righteous. Esau marries a Canaanite and Jacob also stole the birth right which made him the heir of the first born and it should have been Leah. God saw her tears and made her the most fruitful of the four matriarchs of Israel. Ironically the less teary-eyed Rachel, who later died in childbirth, which was prophesied to weep for her children (Jer 31:15.) Two lines of royalty were destined to descend from Leah; the royal family of Judah from who would come King David and King Messiah the spiritual line of Levi from whom would descend Moses, Aaron and the Kohanim (the priestly class)The only thing she desired was the love of her husband.Leah was a woman who lived with the pain of rejection every day of her life.First of all, Leah was never respected by her father. In that day, it was the father's responsibility to arrange for his daughters to marry. During the seven years Jacob worked for Rachel, Laban could have tried to find a husband for Leah. If he had offered a big-enough dowry, he would have found someone to marry her. But apparently he thought she was hopeless as a marriage prospect and the only way to get rid of her was to palm her off on poor Jacob, who was besotted with love for Rachel. Laban passed Leah off to Jacob like a dishonest businessman getting rid of damaged goods at full price. Can you imagine how Leah must have cringed when Jacob looked at her in the morning light with shock, distaste, and anger? That terrible deception on Jacob's wedding night set in motion much of the grief that family experienced for decades to come. Sadly, Leah didn't deserve that rejection. Nobody noticed her character, her inner self, or her mind. This isn't much different than the way things are today."Jacob loved Rachel more than Leah." If we think at all about those six little words from Genesis 29:30, we will be able to imagine the many ways Jacob demonstrated his feelings. But we also see how God expressed His feelings for Leah. As we learned in the last chapter, God stepped in to let Leah know she was valuable to Him by allowing her to bear children. Still, Leah suffered her husband's rejectionLeah knew she wasn't loved. She wasn't fooled, and she didn't fool herself. Sometimes we make excuses and cover up for the people who reject us, because if we acknowledge their cruelty, it hurts too much. Worse yet, we keep on trying to be accepted and as a result face rejection over and over.Leah's longing for Jacob's love probably lasted all her life, but she learned to live with the situation. Her spiritual journey led her to reality and acceptance, and her awareness of God indicates a stable relationship with Him that sustained her and gave her the strength to endure her painful circumstances. Her spiritual growth is reflected in the names she gave her children:"Leah became pregnant and gave birth to a son. She named him Reuben, for she said, 'It is because the LORD has seen my misery. Surely my husband will love me now" (Gen. 29:32).Reuben means, "See, a son" but when it is pronounced in Hebrew, it sounds like "He has seen my misery." What does that tell us about Leah's life? She was miserable! Listen to her heart's cry: "Surely my husband will love me now." We learn something important from her.Despite the birth of Reuben, Leah remained unloved. As the account continues, "She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, 'Because the LORD heard that I am not loved, he gave me this one too' So she named him Simeon" (Gen. 29:33).Simeon means, "One who hears." Leah believed that because the Lord had heard that she was not loved, He had given her another son as a consolation prize. What exactly did God hear? Was Leah told in words that she was unloved? By whom? Did Rachel spitefully remind Leah that she was the booby prize as Rachel's jealousy increased because she was barren? Or did this mean that Leah told God in her prayers about her rejection? Sadly, both scenarios were probably true. Before long, Leah had another son: 'Again she conceived, and when she gave birth to a son she said, 'Now at last my husband will become attached to me, because I have borne him three sons.' So he was named Levi" (Gen. 29:34).Levi sounds like the word "attached" in Hebrew. This time Leah lowered her expectations. Now she would be satisfied with just some feeling of genuine connection from Jacob and some appreciation. She never mentions love again. It seems she had finally faced the fact that Jacob would probably never love her as he did Rachel.Sometimes we make ourselves unhappy by envisioning changes that aren't going to take place. Your mother may never be a warm, loving person. Your father may never tell you verbally that he loves you. Your husband may never be able to let down the walls of protection he has built around himself and share the intimacy you long for.If you spend your life focused on making some other person change, you're wasting your energy. The problem is not yours; the fault does not lie with you. You are not unworthy. Instead, the other person may be incapable of the normal responses of an emotionally healthy person. We see this happen in Leah when a very important shift occurs in her focus after her fourth son is born: "She conceived again, and when she gave birth to a son she said, 'This time I will praise the LORD! So she named him Judah. Then she stopped having children" (Gen. 29:35).Judah means "praise." After years of pain, Leah's entire focus turned to God. This time she didn't mention Jacob at all; instead she got her sense of worth from God. She knew God valued her because He had proved it to her in a way that was understood in that culture. He gave her children. She was devalued by her father. She was rejected by her husband. She was envied by her sister. But she was loved by God, and that fact gave her the strength to go on.When Rachel died, he buried her near Bethlehem. Leah died some time before Jacob (according to Genesis 49:31). She is thought to be buried in the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hebron alongside Jacob. This cave also houses the graves of Abraham and Sarah, and Isaac and Rebekah

Moses led the Children of Israel
Posted: 9 May, 2016
As Moses was leading the children of Israel they needed protection from their enemies that were pursuing them. The Lord God was & is I AM your defense.
When they needed food, I AM your Supplier
When they needed protection from the sun and heat at night, He provided . The Lord God is I AM your Protector
Ex 13:21 By day the Lord went ahead of them in a pillar of cloud to guide them on their way,
and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light, so that they could travel by day or fight.
Neither the pillar of cloud by day nor the pillar of fire by night left its place in front of the people.
When they needed healing, He was and is I AM your Healer.
In the wilderness it was common to hit a rock where there was a cistern of water. How do you know which one and you also need to have enough to a million people? Do you need His wisdom and knowledge today? Moses was given wisdom and knowledge to know what rock to tap and the miracle also was the amount of water. I AM your Wisdom. I AM your Shepherd. I AM your Provider
Made a decision; take an animal usually a bull; split into 2 halves and walk into the bloody path; commit to each other, cut their wrist and hands and blood running and mingling and bring hands together and put gun powder on the wound to leave a scar. Became a friend, now a brother; exchange of names. I am one with this person, ends with a meal. Bread and wine. Feed each other saying you eat me and you drink me. If I ever break this covenant may what happen to this bull. For the rest of their lives, they will implement being loyal, the meeting of their needs, protecting and defending from all. All that they have also belongs to the other and extends to your seed. This works out in every day life. They always look to pursue you for good. What the blood speaks is = will never leave you nor forsake you. My food is yours, my name is yours, my wealth is yours, my defense is yours. Both parties live to do good for the other. The greater One will always more.
In the New Covenant, God made a covenant with the blood of His own Son. It is unbreakable, unshakable and unmovable. We are now joined together as one with Him. All that we need is in Him. We are the joint heirs of Jesus Christ. All that He is, all that He has we are joined to.
John 6:51:"I AM the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever;"
John 8:12: Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, "I AM the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life." He is your light in the darkness you face. Walk into you world knowing He will part the darkness for you.
John 8:58 Jesus said to them, "Most assuredly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I AM."
John 10:9: "I AM the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture."
John 10:11: "I AM the good shepherd. The good shepherd gives His life for the sheep. Do you need Him to lead you? Accept that He is the Shepherd and is leading.
John 11:25: Jesus said to her, "I AM the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live.
John 14:6: Jesus said to him, "I AM the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
John 15:1: "I AM the true vine, and My Father is the vine-dresser.
John 19:2: Therefore the chief priests of the Jews said to Pilate, "Do not write, 'The King of the Jews,' but, 'He said, "I AM the King of the Jews."
Jesus Christ is the Supplier and the Supply of every need.
Acts 7:32: Stephen speaking of Moses' encounter at the burning bush "saying, 'I am the God of your fathers-- the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.' And Moses trembled and dared not look."
Acts 9:5: And he said, "Who are You, Lord?" And the Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads."
But the Good News is more. It states that not only are our sins forgiven, but we are brought into an actual functioning unity with God through Christ. The pages of the New Testament abound with such phrases as, “Christ in you,” “I live yet not I but Christ lives in me,” “God which works in you,” “Greater is He that is in you…,” “He that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit,’ and many more.
Here is the key to the impossible life. Behind the statement that His yoke is easy and His burden light is the truth that He does not merely tell us what to do, but enters into union with us to be the ability to do it.
Colossians 3:4 puts it boldly: “Christ who is our life.” The gift of eternal life is not an impersonal thing that God gives us. The gift of life is God Himself. He gives us the Spirit of Jesus to live within us. “He that has the Son has life…” (John 3:36 KJV) To live in eternal life is to live in the ability of Another’s life.
The idea of a God outside of us giving us aid as we struggle to keep His commands is foreign to the Gospel. He is within us, alive in our personalities being His Holy Self. It was this consciousness that caused Paul to exclaim,
I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me. (Galatians 2:20)
The I Am In the Old Testament was whatever man needed. He became, He was his all in all. Jesus in the New Testament uses all the examples to show who He is. He is everything to man and the only way to God.
I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty."

Faith: Deliberate confidence in the character of God
Posted: 12 May, 2016
Faith is permitting ourselves to be seized by the things we do not see. Faith is deliberate confidence in the character of God whose ways you may not understand at the time A person who wholly follows the Lord is one who believes that the promises of God are trustworthy, that He is with His people, and that they are well able to overcome. We have received life, yet this life and the head are inseparable. Upon our accepting Him, we still must live in Him. Though we have received Him, we are yet to depend on Him. The steps of faith fall on the seeming void, but find the rock beneath.. Faith is a matter between the individual and God Accordingly, we cannot be independent in anything. The Lord alone is head, and He is the sole resource of our life. Many confuse understanding with believing. The Christian experience, from start to finish, is a journey of faith. Our rest lies in looking to the Lord, not to ourselves Everyone who believes in God must have His revelation in his spirit, or else what he believes is not God but mere human wisdom, ideals or words. Such faith cannot endure the test. We should inquire once again as to what the life of faith is. It is one lived by believing God under any circumstance: "If he slay me," says Job, "yet would I trust in Him" (Job 13:15 Darby). That is faith. Faith is God's work within us.
Sing FOR Joy
Posted: 17 May, 2016
Sing FOR Joy. Begin to rejoice in the Lord, and your bones will flourish like an herb, and your cheeks will glow with the bloom of health and freshness. Worry, fear, distrust, care-all are poisonous! Joy is balm and healing, and if you will but rejoice, God will give power. Nothing is too great and nothing is too small to commit into the hands of the Lord. Prayer is the way and means God has appointed for the communication of the blessings of His goodness to His people
Love is Power
Posted: 17 May, 2016
Love is the only fire that is hot enough to melt the iron obstinacy of a creature’s will.
When love is felt, the message is heard.
Love is power. The Holy Spirit, for the most part, works by our affection. Love men to Christ; faith accomplishes much, but love is the actual instrument by which faith works out its desires in the Name of the Lord of love. And I am sure that, until we heartily love our work, and love the people with whom we are working, we shall not accomplish much.
Love can grow only if it is rooted in the soil of true obedience.

Let GOD be your Stronghold
Posted: 26, May, 2016
Let God be your stronghold.
Psalm 8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger.
Who and what are these babe and infants that silence the enemy and avenger?
Babes and infants represent utter weakness; it does not look like very much strength or power; quite insignificant in terms of power, ability or strength against any forces.
God ordained and decreed to bring to pass the silencing of the enemy and the avenger by utter weakness.
Strength - is a stronghold; strength of fortress, tower of strength, a refuge, you are in so they can’t get you, but a refuge from which you can get them. It is like the castles in Europe when you go in and then when they close the gates, you can't get in. God becomes your stronghold.
Out of the mouth of these insignificant persons you have brought to perfection the making of a tower of strength; the producing of a stronghold resulting is you may silence the enemy.
In the Hebrew it means to hurl he enemy back and shut him up with nothing left to say
What comes out of them the babes and infants, what comes out that creates a stronghold that the enemy is hurled back and shut up. Jesus quotes this verse He says it different though
Matt.21:16 And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say? And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise? The children were saying Hosanna. He is saying to the leaders yes, I hear them; it is praise that the babes and infants are building the stronghold that causes the enemies of God to be hurled down and shut up; praise that comes out of the weakest person.
Praise builds audible fortress; also shuts up and hurls down the enemy. As you praise the Lord, God becomes a stronghold, encapsulating you that what opposes His will and what opposes you will be hurled down.
Praise God and the side effect builds a stronghold that shuts up and hurls down all the opposing forces.
As you praise the Lord for who He is as God, as a covenant God, the I AM in your life, praise Him for who He is and who He is to you the more your faith increases. You are exalting Him and speaking His marvelous Name and who He has made Himself to be in your life; the residue of the world, the attacks upon your mind, and directly from the enemy begin to come down in His Name and presence.
The temple is made for praise and worship. That is what you are a temple. You are made for praise and worship. He doesn’t need it, for He is complete in Himself, but He is the creator and we are the creatures and it centers your life, it brings into your life, LIFE.
In church it should be to lift your hearts to the Lord not focus upon the enemies. The Good News is the devil is bound 2000 years ago. Get absorbed in the glory of God. Begin to praise His name and allow the stronghold of God in you be built and see how the glory of God fills your temple and let the glory fill His church which you are.

Stay in your position of worship until breakthrough
Posted: 30, May 2016
Elijah remained in the position of worship till the servant boy came back and said “I saw a small cloud the size of a man’s fist that was coming in from the sea.” Stay in your position of worship till your breakthrough.
1 Kings 18:42
....At the top of the mountain, Elijah bent down. He put his head between his knees. 43 Then Elijah said to his servant, “Go up higher and look toward the sea.”
The servant went and looked. He came back and said, “I saw nothing.” Elijah told him to go look again. This happened seven times. 44 The seventh time, the servant came back and said, “I saw a small cloud the size of a man’s fist that was coming in from the sea.”
