Jesus' Willingness

There is an incredible willingness of Jesus to heal our bodies, our minds and our emotions. We must adjust our thinking to healing then we can be channels to the rest of the world.
We are the healing body in the earth.
You can’t flow with His life and His love without understanding His willingness.(It is not if you do this, or you do that; add this or that and you will be healed)
Greek word SOZO- saved salvation; not only sin and salvation, salvation of mind, body and emotions.
Acts 16:32 Believe on me and ye shall be saved.
Go your faith has made you whole – SOZO when he spoke to the leper All of what SOZO is, is what you have.
Old Testament. Snakes- They were being bitten by poison, fiery snakes and were dying.
Answer. Make a serpent of brass, put it on a pole high. The serpent is dead on the pole; look and live.
Serpent was biting them; it was killing them and God says I have judged the serpent; that would kill you so dead on a pole and if you will look there and believe under the hand of God that which would kill you is now dead, you will be healed. As many as looked knew the life of God in their bodies and were healed.
Jesus said to Nicodemus. As Moses lifted up the serpent whoever believes on me shall not perish. At the cross- death, the whole fall where every sickness, every bondage every human emotional and mental pain every corrupt thing. When Jesus Christ dies He enters into that death and rose again. In that resurrection defeated and swallowed death, judge death, sin, sickness, sorrow and bondages.
This shows God in action
There is no formula to healing. We come to Him and there is no specific way. He put mud in an eye and did it once. He IS divine healing, not a formula. Jesus said “I am the Way, The Truth and the Life, no method. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today and forever.
Isaiah 53:3 “He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised and we esteemed him not. Surely he took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him and afflicted. But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities, the punishment that brought us peace was upon him and by his wounds we are healed.”
Malachi 4: 2 “ But for you who revere my name the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in His wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall. Then you will trample down the wicked, they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day when I do these things, says the Lord Almighty.”
We take these scriptures and use them for the inner eyes which is right, but they meant the physical also.Jesus took those scriptures among other things and said it was physical.
Luke 4:18 “The Spirit of the Lord is on me because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Inner eyes open so were the outer ones. Release to captives, yes, held to habits, bondage to all the powers of darkness, bondage to sickness that held them. Every level of man’s existence
Matt. 4: 23-26 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
There are stronghold over countries like intellectualism that cause many times the flow of instantaneous healing to flow readily
All power belongs to the Lord. He is the Lord that Heals.God Heals. Whether he uses medicine or the miraculous it is because God is the healer that we do receive any kind healing in our bodies. If the medicine works or herbs it is because the Lord allowed it to. He is the Healer. People do get that mixed up. The word for healing is theraputo which is our word for therapy. It begins the moment we pray, lay hands, anoint with oil, healing is issued forth, sometimes by medicine working for you; sometimes gradually, sometimes days; sometimes quickly and some over a period. .Many times what people are praying for is miraculous and instantaneous, which is good and fine.
Hope and Quietly Wait for the Salvation of the Lord

It is good that a man should both hope an quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Lamentations 3:26
“Take heed and be quiet: fear not neither be faint-hearted”Isaiah7:4
In quietness and in confidence shall be your strength. Isaiah 30:15
What these words reveal to us the close connect between quietness and faith. They’re the element of true waiting upon God. If we want to have everything all that occupies interest whether of gladness or sorrow.
Our God is a being of great infinite greatness and glory
Our natures are so estranged from God. Everything that is not God that excites our fears or stirs our efforts or awaken our hopes or make us glad hinder us before Him
Take heed and be quiet. In quietness shall be your strength. It is good that a man should quietly wait. Scriptures tell us the very thought of God in His majesty and holiness should silence us.
The Lord is in His holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before Him Habakkuk 2:20
Hold thy peace at he presence of the Lord Zephaniah 1:17
Be silent O all flesh, before the Lord; for He I raised up out of His holy habitation.” Zechariah 2:13
This is one of the highest form of fellowship with the Holy One. The adoration of Him in His glory. This is the entrance into a holy stillness making the way for God to speak and reveal Himself then comes the fulfillment of the precious promise. (Andrew Murray) All of self and self-effort will be humbled. The haughtiness of man shall be brought down and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. Take heed and be quiet It is good that a man quietly wait. Take time to separate from friend, duties, cares, joys and time to be still and quiet, time from self and all it energies. It is submission before the Lord in His presence, and a breaking of powers over you; defeating to the enemies
Seeking His Word

One summer evening 25 years ago as I was traveling home from Pinecrest Bible Training Center in Salisbury NY en route to Utica NY, I took the back country roads which looked like the original Mohawk Indian Trail. Basically one lane, no lights and miles upon miles of emptiness. I had been thinking previously about the Covenant of God and God’s desire and willingness to be responsible for our life.As I was driving, I had a flat tire and I am in the middle of nothing and no cell phones at that time.I utter from my lips “Father what will You do?” Before I finished that a lady in a car is approaching me. She says to me, stay put, I know this area and I will get you help.I wait and she returns with men in a pickup truck, bare- chest, knives in their back pockets and says stay inside and blocks their view of me.They change my tire and ask her where is she going. She tells them Utica. They tell her she will not make it, needs air. They say it is too late to get air in Middleville because it is closing in 5 minutes.She thanked them still blocking me from speaking to them and said follow me.I said to her, the men said that there would be no stations opened in 5 minutes. She said follow me.I followed her to a station in Middleville and all the lights were out and everything was closed.She knocks on the door and the lights come on and 3 men are there. I wanted to come out and she said stay put and blocked their view of me.They put air in my tire and she stood in front of my window blocking their view of me.After the tire had air in it she looks at me and says “you are free to go”.

My Healing Testimony & the Hearing of His Voice

I heard a sound from heaven like the roar of rushing waters and like a loud peal of thunder. Revelation 14:2His feet were like bronze glowing in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of rushing waters Revelation 1:15...His voice was like the roar of rushing waters Ezekiel 43:2...like the roar of rushing waters Revelation 19:64 The voice of the LORD is powerful;the voice of the LORD is majestic.5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars;the LORD breaks in pieces the cedars of Lebanon.The voice of the LORD shakes the desert;the LORD shakes the Desert of Kadesh. Psalm 29:4-5,8If you have been to Niagara Falls, New York and stood there at the falls. You will notice quickly with the roar of the rushing waters that there is no other sound but its own. All other sounds are drowned out. There is one sound and that of its own. You hear nothing else.In your situation, no matter the din of voices, the confusion, the turmoil, the doubt, the stress, the enemy powers, sickness etc; when God speaks then all bows and there is no other sound but His voice. It is done, His right hand moves, it truly is finished. The voice of the Lord is powerful, majestic and breaks every power that assails and all is brought down. All you will hear is His voice. The sound of His voice,, His speaking is His power released.The power of His voice carries you, lifts you and moves powers and it is done.Several years ago, I had a tumor in the roof of my mouth and not expected to live. It happens so very quickly, I was so sick that I did not even know what really happened until it was over. I had been working for a top surgeon at the time. When he was aware of the situation, with his contacts maneuvered so that I was immediately being ushered into surgery. They slit the entire roof of my mouth and in the front. I have no bones in certain areas of my mouth. The surgeon said that he did not know why I was alive that in all his years half the size of that tumor would have had someone brain dead. He went on to tell me the cells are there, but let a lying dog lay. If it ever recurs, I probably would not survive. After the surgery, I had bleeding, pain, and when I went into the cold it was quite painful. Even though I could evaluate things working in a medical environment, when it came to myself, it was quite different. I was in fear, why did this happen, what is happening now and when I would see the bleeding and have the pain, my mind was like a runway. I was in the surgeon's office quite a bit that entire year.One day as I was speaking to the Lord and being in His presence, I said, I do not know how to handle this.I heard, Psalm 1:15, "My times are in thy hands," When I read that the power and peace of God descended upon me. I never have had anymore fear,, no turmoil, the pain stop and I hardly ever think about it. The power of His word, broke that fear, broke that power and His word carried me. You hear well I will claim this verse, which is just fine, but I am telling you when God voice comes, That word will carry you.His word, His voice CLAIMED me. They never thought I would make it this long. It will be 36 year next month.
Christ Valued Above ALL

Christ is not valued at all unless He is valued above ALL .It is in Him we move and have our being; It is in Christ who is the center of our life; whom we draw from; not our gift or our calling, but Him.It is intimacy with Him; that I might know Him. He is the fullness of life; not our ministry or ministry gift. It is Christ who can, when we cannot. He is our life. He is our forgiveness when I can’t; He is our strength when there isn’t. He is intervention when there is none. He is our all and in all.

Ephesians 3:19...and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.God can heal a broken heart and take you beyond your disappointments, heal and restore. Only God's love can make you whole.The love of God revealed to your very being can truly heal, make you whole, calm your fears, take down the walls you have built and what you receive from Him is what you give out. What you receive will exceed what you could ever do on your own. I don't believe that you can ever exhaust the revelation of the love of God for yourself and praying for others.I believe that when you ask for the revelation of the love of God for you, you are restored and will begin to see other and situations in a different light.We pray for more power and more gifts. As we all know the love chapter of 1 Corinthian 13 is sandwhiched in between the chapters on the gifts and rightly so.
If you love the person that is in front of you, God will give the necessary gift that is needed. It is not necessary to know ahead of time what the person needs or presume you already know. We will always be in the posture of the man going to his friend for bread at midnight. You may not have the bread in yourself, many times you really feel that I don't know what to do and I have nothing to say or give, but you have a friend who always has bread and will always give the necessary bread to you.
The love of God revealed is the fullness of Him, knowing Him, His power and authority revealed
When Jesus had the paralytic brought to him by his friends, He did not quickly tell him rise and walk, ( I would think that would be the most logical thing to do) He said to him, your sins are forgiven. This particular person needed that. To one that was a deaf and dumb , He healed them, to the second one He cast it out the spirit.
I remember being called one evening around 11:30 P.M. by a friend whose roomate she felt was in a crises and asked me to come. I did. When I went into the house and looked at her, lying in a bed, she was totally contorted. I thought, Oh my God, she needs deliverance or the psych ward like now; either a demon has to be cast out or she is in the throws of a nervous breakdown. I wanted to call her family and an ambulance. I began to pray, holding her hand and I heard the Lord say, speak and impart peace to her, speak peace to her whole being. I did and amazingly before my eyes and her roomate which was a strong testimony to her, her entire body began to relax, her whole countenance changed and you could see the transformation of God in her entire being. How God began to deal with her in the days was astounding.
One time my pastor asked me to work with this particular woman. I did not say anything to him but looked at him. This woman at that time could be crowned queen of mean as well as she did not have a prejudice bone in her, she hated everyone equally. My pastor looks at my face and starts laughing and says, "You don't think I heard from the Lord" I didn't say, but I thought, of course I don't think you heard from the Lord, but I said to him, "everybody has tried to work with her and the results are zero, zip, nada and what do you think I can do?" Well, I said fine. This is going to be a waste of time. I began to pray and I heard the Lord ask me, "who is your life?"I said, "You are Lord." I began seeing this woman and she was true to form, mean and hateful, but the constant was, You Lord are my life and I did not have any particular feelings of love, empathy or anything. I did receive grace and truthfully I expected nothing. I did pray that God's love would be revealed to her as it was to me. I knew though, for whatever reason, the pastor asked and the Lord spoke.This woman heart began to soften and so did her face. A friendship and a bond began to happen. I thought the Lord's spirit is getting hold of her. The word was being applied to her heart. She so transformed her husband came to the Lord as well as her children.One day she asked to give a testimony. I thought this is good. She is such a different person.Then she said that when the pastor asked if she would spend time with Sandy. I thought what is this? She said that she could feel the love of God come from me even before I spoke anything to her and the many things that she had done to guard her own heart from pain, she felt them come down and it was like a heart being massaged and healed.I was thoroughly embarrassed and humbled by this. My pastor wasted no time to come to me and to rub it into my face that he did hear from the Lord. I retorted in jest and said I don't believe for one moment that this was going to happen.
In Covenant with Jesus

If you are in covenant with Jesus Christ, He is responsible for covering your weaknesses, for being your strength. He will give you His abilities for your disabilities! He also will cover your strengths. He will cause you to learn to draw from Him and not your own strength; that shall enhance your strengths with a God’s power (dunamis power ) from above.

Luke 6:28 28 bless those who curse you, pray for those who mistreat you. How do you think; it is the way to stop and break the cycle of evil perpetrated against you as well as give the Holy Spirit an opportunity to come and work in those who are doing evil. The blessing of God came to break the curse. Jesus Christ is the blessing bringer and curse breaker. Think of Stephen while being stoned, forgave and asked the the charge not be set against them. He was dying anyway, but in forgiveness which is part of the blessing he gave entrance to the Holy Spirit into Saul who became the greatest apostle that lived.

Mercy: the Power behind Compassion

Mercy is not pity. It is the power behind compassion.
Pity is like a man begging with his tin can and depends on the pity of another and says thank you and returns the same way.
Mercy is the stoop of heaven to mankind.
Mercy speaks to the women at the well and transforms her life inside out.
Mercy casts out the demons in the man who had a legion and restores him back to a total mind.
Mercy heals the blind man and gives him sight; causes the paralytic to rise and walk.
Mercy get moved with compassion at the widow woman at Nain because of the loss of her only son and her provider and brings her son back from the dead.
Mercy gets moved with compassion and performs a miracle and heals a leper making him whole and restored.
Son of David have mercy on me.

Prayer Neglect:

The enemy uses all his power to lead the Christian, and above all the minister, to neglect prayer. He knows you can have great powerful messages, flow in the gifts, music is anointed, fellowship is wonderful, none of these things can damage the enemy or his defeat his kingdom and bondages over people if there is not a strong prayer life that releases power and authority within and from you.

Scientific study by Penn. School of Medicine in 2006 on Speaking in Tongues
(Philadelphia, PA) - Glossolalia, otherwise referred to as “speaking in tongues,” has been around for thousands of years, and references to it can be found in the Old and New Testament. Speaking in tongues is an unusual mental state associated with specific religious traditions. The individual appears to be speaking in an incomprehensible language, yet perceives it to have great personal meaning. Now, in a first of its kind study, scientists are shining the light on this mysterious practice -- attempting to explain what actually happens physiologically to the brain of someone while speaking in tongues.Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine have discovered decreased activity in the frontal lobes, an area of the brain associated with being in control of one’s self. This pioneering study, involving functional imaging of the brain while subjects were speaking in tongues, is in the November issue of Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging, the official publication of the International Society for Neuroimaging in Psychiatry.
Radiology investigators observed increased or decreased brain activity - by measuring regional cerebral blood flow with SPECT (Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography) imaging - while the subjects were speaking in tongues. They then compared the imaging to what happened to the brain while the subjects sang gospel music.
“We noticed a number of changes that occurred functionally in the brain,” comments Principal Investigator Andrew Newberg, MD, Associate Professor of Radiology, Psychiatry, and Religious Studies, and Director for the Center for Spirituality and the Mind, at Penn. “Our finding of decreased activity in the frontal lobes during the practice of speaking in tongues is fascinating because these subjects truly believe that the spirit of God is moving through them and controlling them to speak. Our brain imaging research shows us that these subjects are not in control of the usual language centers during this activity, which is consistent with their description of a lack of intentional control while speaking in tongues.”
Newberg went on to explain, “These findings could be interpreted as the subject’s sense of self being taken over by something else. We, scientifically, assume it’s being taken over by another part of the brain, but we couldn’t see, in this imaging study, where this took place. We believe this is the first scientific imaging study evaluating changes in cerebral activity -- looking at what actually happens to the brain -- when someone is speaking in tongues. This study also showed a number of other changes in the brain, including those areas involved in emotions and establishing our sense of self.”
Newberg concludes that the changes in the brain during speaking in tongues reflect a complex pattern of brain activity. Newberg suggests that since this is the first study to explore this, future studies will be needed to confirm these findings in an attempt to demystify this fascinating religious phenomenon.
This preliminary study, done only at Penn, examined five subjects in a laboratory setting. The study, set for publication in the November issue of Psychiatry Research: Neuroimaging, can now be accessed on-line at www.sciencedirect.com. The article is titled, “The Measurement of Regional Cerebral Blood Flow During Glossolalia: a Preliminary SPECT Study.” Co-authors include: Nancy Wintering, Donna Morgan, and Mark Waldman.

Living in the Love of God

"The living of the love of God in our behaviors is not the ultimate marathon act of our willpower attempting to be like Jesus. Let us accept the fact that the life that the new covenant portrays is impossible for the unaided human to accomplish. It can only take place by Jesus himself living in us by His Spirit; He becomes the source and the ability to live the life of divine love that is the command of the new covenant. When this is understood, the Christian life is not a labor to produce a lifestyle that is foreign and awkward to us. When the center and source of our life is the fountain of love himself, a lifestyle of divine love is not foreign and awkward but natural." Malcolm Smith
